I'm looking for a reasonable hotel near Disneyland not to far if its walking distance that will be a plus , we are not looking for a fancy one but one that clean any recommendationsLooking for a decent hotel near Disneyland?
IMHO, the best hotel for families are the ones closest to the resort. Here's the deal: On busy weekends like that, parking %26amp; shuttle from the lot can easily kill 30-45 minutes. Same with a hotel shuttle. You NEED to stay CLOSE to the park. I recommend the Howard Johnson (HoJo) Anaheim and Candy Cane Inn, which are both highly rated. Of the two, the HoJo is closer. Not only do you avoid all the hassle of parking in the structure and the shuttle, you can walk back to the hotel in the afternoon for a nap or a swim. If you have young ones, make them take a nap so that they don't miss the best regular fireworks show on the planet. I've seen it over 300 times now, and I still get goose bumps.
If you can't stay close, then stay at the Doubletree on Harbor or the Embassy Suites. Disneyland is in Anaheim, but there are some VERY good hotels on Harbor, just past the Garden Grove city limits. As Paris would say, "The towels are so fluffy, it's hard to close your suitcase". We recently spent a night at the Doubletree, and the beds were VERY comfortable, towels soft and fluffy, which just made our stay that much better.
Check the www.disneyland.com website and click on "calendar" for the days you're going. It will give you a schedule of parades, fireworks, and ride closures.
-Arrive early, when the park opens, so that you can get on some rides quickly.
-Get fast passes to use later.
-Call 714-781-DINE to make reservations at Carnation Caf茅, Caf茅 Orleans, or Blue Bayou (if you want to splurge on something special) so that you don鈥檛 spend an hour or more waiting to eat.
Hotel california - EaglesLooking for a decent hotel near Disneyland?
There is a great motel 8 within walking distance. I stayed there in Jan and the prices were reasonable
There are tons of hotels close to Disneyland that are reasonably nice and not overly expensive. Walking distance is really not important -they have lots of free shuttles than run really frequently, so no need to park at Disneyland if you are staying in one of the area hotels.
Here is a site that can lead you to several of them:

There are two Days Inns. One is easy walking distance (Ball St.). About $60/night, and they have laundry facilities.
OK DECENT theres plenty just call and plan ahead because rooms can go quickly
