What is the best economy hotel near disneyland? (in Anaheim, Ca)?

What is the best economy hotel near Disneyland? (Anaheim, Ca) My wife and I are planning to go in January, 2008. We are taking our 3-year-old son. We are on a budget, so we can share a king or queen size bed. Any Suggestions?What is the best economy hotel near disneyland? (in Anaheim, Ca)?
You must stay at the Anahiem Desert Inn and Suites. it's directly across the street from disneyland and there are still great deals on their website. anaheimdesertinn.com

I'm staying there in January too with a few of my friends and this will be my third time staying there.



I hope this helps you out. and if your on a very tight budget you won't need to pay for parking at the park or take a shuttle.

I am a big fan of the Fairfield Inn, it is right across the street from Disneyland and is in fact probably just as close to the park as any of the Disney Hotels, it should run you about $100 a night..if your looking for something more cheaper than that I am not sure!
The Fairfield is nice, but it will definitely be closer to the $150 range. I prefer the HoJo (Howard Johnson) or the Candy Cane Inn. Both have good reviews, and are close enough to walk back for a nap. Both are very reasonably priced, and have heated pools in case junior wants a swim.
Abe I would listen to Obviousman...he lives not far away, his kids worked there, he has had season passes...Scheesch, there's no telling how much money he's pumped into the place...

Candy Cane Inn
I recommend the Peacock Inn %26amp; Suites. They are located just a few blocks away, offer a free shuttle service to the parks, offer wonderful kids activities, cont. breakfast, and a small, but nice pool. This hotel is rather inexpensive, compared to others in the area. When we do not stay in a Disney resort, we choose this location.
