Any real difference between RCCL and Carnival?

I'm looking more into if there are any huge differences. I don't care if the staff or food etc. is slightly better on one than the other. Also which ships have more to do?Any real difference between RCCL and Carnival?
Royal Caribbean has more to do. They have rock-walls and ice skating rinks. Thats the biggest difference. Also, the prices on Royal are usually higher then Carnival. Good luck!

Royal Caribbean for the win. They have so much to do on their ships, plus better food, service and what have you. Carnival tends to attract Spring Break partier types.Any real difference between RCCL and Carnival?
In general, RCCL has newer and much nicer ships, with more things to do on them. Carnival does have a new one though, which I would think would be nice. Other than that, the other difference is price. Carnival is cheaper.
CCL is cheaper and attracts more of a younger crowd along with families and kids. Good cruise line. RCCL is more of young mature crowd and less teenagers and kids. Depands on what you're looking for.
The cruise ships are all very much alike as they are competitors (even though owned by one company) I prefer RCCL as Carnival is one of the lesser lines and is more of a party boat.
RCCL is more expensive and has larger ships
