There are 3 Disneyland Resort hotels (http://www.disneyland.com/) that are right near the entrance to the Disney parks.



Lots of hotels around Disneyland itself -- you can do a quote and sort the results based on distance from the entrance -- http://www.resideo.com/us/california/ana鈥?/a> -- click the "Check Availability" button, choose your dates, submit the form, then select "Disneyland" from the distance dropdown.



Plan on spending 3 days in the Disney theme parks (you can buy a park hopper pass and save some money) and maybe spend 1 day exploring Hollywood/LA.

Plan on 2 days at Disneyland one at least for Disneyland and one for California Great Adventure. There is also Knotts Berry Farm (a short ten drive from Disneyland) if you like thrill rides. Also the beach is a short 20 minute ride from Disneyland and California has some lovely beaches ie, Newport, Corona Del Mar (all in that area). In Buena Park (where Knotts is located) there is the Wax Museum, and a couple of other interesting places in the same block. There is so much to do -- or if you want to drive for an hour or so you can go to San Diego -- the zoo, old town. You can go in North and take in Unversal studios, or Santa Barbara and Solvang. It is totally up to you. But have fun, and remember the traffic is horrendous at any hour of the day -- we hit a traffic jam at 3 AM
