SuperWow??? Song Title... Please help! "I need you Jesus"?
I just got back from SuperWow on Jekyll Island for the second year. Both years that I have been there, the band has sang a song during alter call and I really really loved it. It went "I need you Jesus, come to my rescue, tell me where else can I go, there's no other name by which I am saved, capture me with grace, I will follow you"

I want to go on a vacation, leaving Dalton GA and getting to the nicest beach around our area.
White sand would be nice to see and beaches without jellyfish laying on them would be even better. We're trying to find a nice place to vacation and take the grandkids who have never seen the ocean before. Somewhere either around the gulf coast or up the eastern coast of Georgia, but never been that impressed with Jekyll Island( everytime i've been it's rained). Can anyone give me any ideas of some nice beaches, not extremely far from Dalton, GA.(within a 8-9 hour drive) As I said, we do like white sand beaches but more importantly a beach without the jelly fish. Ok so when I was younger I used to believe a lot of this conspiracy crap by Alex Jones until I started learning what a pile it is?
A friend of mind will call him bob for the sake of this story is always thinking their is some elaborate conspiracy behind everything since he listens to Alex Jones and these other nutters. We were having an argument about how the FEDERAL RESERVE WAS PRIVATE and how the NWO was taking over a few days ago.
For example I tried to tell Bob how to president i.e. an elected official appoints the board and president of the Federal Reserve; of course he put an immediate conspiracy behind that too about how the elections are rigged and the president is owned etc. etc.
So he gets mad at me and says how can you debate with me if you haven't even read the book The Creature From Jekyll island how can you debate me. Well I have this thing about looking to see whom is giving me information before I just take it at face value so he gets mad and he says I know what you are going to do, you are going to find some reason not to believe the Author G Edward Griffith.
So I looked at G Edward Griffith's web site i.e. the man who wrote the book The Creature From Jekyll island which is supposed to show the Federal Reserve is Private. His web site realityzone.com is a complete fantasy world from something of a science fiction novel.
What I find so retarded is how these conspiracy theorists don't see how this is an industry. He charges 20 dollars or more for a lot of his books in evil FEDERAL RESERVE CURRENCY. umm what I found especially funny is how he has a book that claims to show how cancer can basically be cured and how big pharma is screwing people.
Isn't he doing the same? I mean if I had some simple cure for Cancer it would be selfish of me to try and sell it to make a profit like pharma is doing. Being that I am a good person I would publish it on the internet for free I wouldn't think it was that important to get 20 bucks to cure your cancer FREE would be good. That's downright evil since he isn't even selling a product for the cure rather just information on what to do. It's like saying I have a cure for your cancer but I won't tell you until I have 20 bucks.
Of course the medical community knows that his theory on this if you ask 99% of docs with an actual DEGREE that it's a complete bunch of quackery anyway.
Worse he has chem-trail videos which are another absurd theory for the fact my uncle works for the FAA has spend thousands of hours in the sky and has said no such thing is being sprayed ohhh wait maybe he's owned now too right? hahaha Also there are videos of clouds of MOISTURE behind planes in the 1930s so this chem trail thing must be pretty extensive.

What should I do?
There is this guy that I used to like, but I don't like him anymore. Ever since he found out, he has been avoiding me... So I told my friend to ask him if he hated me. He said no, but he avoids people that used to like him because he's afraid that they'll make a move on him... I would never do that... We were at Jekyll Island on a school field trip at the time, so when I was in my bunk at night, I wrote him a note telling him to trust me. That I only want to be friends... I gave it to my friends to read to see if it was ok, and then I gave it to a friend to give to him... I still haven't heard from him. That was about a month ago. I'm afraid to talk to him because I'm afraid he'll freak out! What should I do? Should I forget about him?What should I do?

If this is a group bent on the dismantling of our liberties, then what we must ALL do is remove the incumbents of our government, in total.
Although, I doubt the pure "sinister" assertions made by the conspiracy theorist regarding CFR, I believe 100% in cleaning out our House! There are too many that have sat upon their laurals doing nothing but keeping their own interests afloat.

Marvin and Bernard Kalb: The Council is "an extremely influ- ential private group that is sometimes called the real State Department." {10}
Richard Barnet: Membership in the Council is "a rite of passage for an aspiring national security manager."{ll}
As several of the quotes imply, just the names of members give an impressive picture of Council importance. The current Council chairman is David Rockefeller of Chase Manhattan Bank {circa 1977}, a man with incredible personal wealth and financial power. Wall Street lawyer Allen W. Dulles, a Council director for over forty years, helped establish the CIA and directed it while his brother John Foster (also a Council member) ran the Department of State. Diplomatic superstar Henry A. Kissinger was a Council protege who began his career in foreign affairs as a rapporteur for a Council study group. Kissinger later told Council leader Hamilton Fish Armstrong, who had played a key role in Kissinger's rise to power, "You invented me."{l2} The list could easily be prolonged with eminent financiers, Wall Street lawyers, Ivy League scholars, and high government officials--in short, a galaxy of "establishment" figures.{l3}
It is such intriguing indications of the Council's significance that led us to a more detailed investigation of this little-known organization. Our results show that the Council on Foreign Relations, despite its relative public obscurity, plays a key part in molding United States foreign policy. In the Council, the leading sectors of big business get together with the corporate world's academic experts to work out a general framework for foreign policy.
Since the Second World War at the latest, the Council has had remarkable success in getting its point of view across to The government, regardless of the administration in of office. As government officials, Council members have implemented policies. As "experts," they have generally succeeded in keep- public debate in line with "respectable" views. But they are by no means omnipotent. The decline of United States power faces them with new problems: defeat in Indochina, and the new independence shown by Japan, Western Europe, and the oil-producing countries. They are resourceful, however, and are presently busy thinking up new ways to maintain United States predominance and to convince the American people that such a role is best for everyone.
That the Council is little known is thus not a sign of insignificance, but rather points to its mode of operation. The men at the top meet and work out together the general directtion of policy--the limits of respectable debate. Through a complex network of channels, the content and tone of their discussion reach the policymakers and the leaders of opinion. Eventually they may reach those of us who take an interest in what our country is doing in the world, but we may have little idea that what comes to be a natural "climate of opinion" was carefully fostered and guided. For the process is not public. Council members are selected by the Council's leadership and the meetings are confidential. As the New York Times expressed it, "Except for its annual public Elihu Root Lectures, the Council's talks and seminars are strictly off the record. An indiscretion can be grounds for termination or suspension of membership.''{14}
Despite this conscious secrecy, it is possible to find out something about what the Council is and does. Putting together bits and pieces from many sources and searching out references to Council activities in government archives, we have put together a picture of the inner workings and significance of the Council. Our conclusions challenge the conventional interpretations of policy formation as dispersed among a wide variety of groups or elites. In contrast to this view, we will show, in the pages to follow, the leading role played by the Council on Foreign Relations and the sector of society it represents, the corporate upper class.
The process itself is not only undemocratic, but that the results have been and are against the interests of both the majority of the American people and of the people of the world.

The decline of United States power faces them with new problems: defeat in Indochina, and the new independence shown by Japan, Western Europe, and the oil-producing countries. That the Council is little known is thus not a sign of insignificance, but rather points to its mode of operation. Through a complex network of channels, the content and tone of their discussion reach the policymakers and the leaders of opinion. Eventually they may reach those of us who take an interest in what our country is doing in the world, but we may have little idea that what comes to be a natural "climate of opinion" was carefully fostered and guided. Despite this conscious secrecy, it is possible to find out something about what the Council is and does. Putting together bits and pieces from many sources and searching out references to Council activities in government archives, we have put together a picture of the inner workings and significance of the Council. Our conclusions challenge the conventional interpretations of policy formation as dispersed among a wide variety of groups or elites. In contrast to this view, we will show, in the pages to follow, the leading role played by the Council on Foreign Relations and the sector of society it represents, the corporate upper class.

Here is the deal. A few years ago I went down to Jekyll Island Georgia with some friends and we rented a house there on that island. My car battery died in the garage, my cell phone battery would not keep a charge, and my digital camera kept dying. I took pictures and found what I understand as "orbs" but they could be dusk particles. There were times the lights would flicker on and off and sometimes the rooms were pretty breezy. People say it is a haunted Island. Not sure if I believe it to be paranormial as I think everything has a logical explination. But it has caught my curiosity. Do you believe in Ghosts?

My family lived in a haunted house when I was an infant, thank God I wasn't old enough to experience what they did. They always heard footsteps and stomping through the house at night. When I was about 9, my parents divorced and my dad's girlfriend lived in a haunted house, or maybe it was just a bad spirit brought about by sin, adultery and his girlfriend was addicted to prescription drugs and who knows what else. I remember his girlfriend brought folded clothes to her sons room, opened the door, threw them in, slammed the door, then shivered. I thought that was pretty loony of her, why did she bother folding them. Later I was told she saw red eyes in there. My dad saw the eyes in another room too though. I never saw them but I was never able to sleep there, at night I would feel such thick negative scared, depressed, gloomy emotions that I was kept awake and I would always have to be taken back home to mom. So that said, I'd much prefer to see angels, Godly things and stay as far away from that other ghost stuff as possible.
I think a lot of sightings are pure fictional. . .someone trying to make a buck off it, but some are unexplainable. I believe in angels and devils, who's to say these aren't our ghosts. There is paranormal activity out there that has been verified by professionals, but even they can't explain it.
well i dont know if this is a spirit experience but i am a full believer in spirits. if a spirit was there then the reason why everything was dying was because the spirit was drawing in energy to show itself. good luck

Ok. on the way back from a church trip to Jekyll Island, this guy asked me out, and i wasn't expecting it cuz he's like 3-4 years older than me and i didn't think that he would ask me out, so i told him i would think about it and then answer. Spring Break Camping East Coast?
My buddys I are trying to find a place to go camping for spring break. Last year we went to Jekyll Island had fun but want a place with more bars/people. We would like to so swimming so a warm body of water would be nice (does not have to be ocean). Also a beach would be nice. We are all in college so would like to stay away from the family type of camping. If anyone has a great place please let me know!

I have a job on the weekends lanscaping at hotels on Jekyll Island, GA. Just the other day I was spreading mulch in a flower bed when a man and his wife walked by. After they had passed I overheard the man turn to his wife and say "shoulda stayed in school."
Until the summer I have this job on the weekends to help pay for my new Dodge Dakota. When people see me do they think that I could be a trashy high school dropout just because I'm doing alot of physical labor? I like working outside with my hands. I would think that I'm jealous that I don't get exercise at my job. I've actually considered quitting my white-collar job to find a job that would get me exercise like moving furniture or construction or something. If it wasn't for the benefits I'd probably do it. That guy who said that is a prick.

A general assumption, is that people who work in "low education requiring jobs" such as manual labor, often did not graduate. Simply because those who graduate and can get "higher education jobs" will because they typically pay better, and have better benefits. While those who do not have the education and can not typically get the "higher education jobs, will end up with the "mule" jobs, such as manual labor. Assuming is never right , it makes an A$$ out of U and Me......as you can see, there are alot more A$$'es out there than people who do manual labor.
As a janitor at Toys "R" Us, I can definately sympathize. The fact of the matter is that if there weren't people like you and I to do the work nobody else would touch with a ten-foot pole it wouldn't get done and then people would start to complain. Of course, the complainers wouldn't take the initiative to actually do the dirty work if we weren't around, because they think they're above such things.
If everyone went to college who would be left to tend their gardens? Taking pride in what we do, regarless of its status, is a measure of our own character. Right now, because of the economic status, BAs are clerking stores and doing other more menial jobs...its all work.

Not sure about the beach and stuff and a party it is a bit late to plan one. As a mother I would love a letter from one of my kids... telling me of all the good things I taught them, how I affected their life in a positive way. How much they loved me and how what they wanted to be in life and who they were are apart of what I brought to them. But that is my only opinion.

I think you could come up with something that your mother would like to do with you. The most important thing is that it is with you. It sounds like the pool idea is a #1 wish...I am not sure what Jekll Island is...but that sounded a little iffy to me (like you didn't want to do that). Go with what your heart tells you..and make sure you include her in the decision...unless you want to make it a surprise. In any case, I hope you have fun...and Happy Birthday to your Mom from me (even though she has no idea who I am).....grin

Last year was particularly difficult, but this year, my daughter, my husband and I bought her favorite flowers, got up and made crepes which she loved and sat and had breakfast with her. I set a spot for her and poured her some coffee. We spread out pictures of my five month old grandson and just talked to her as if she were sitting there. May sound a little strange, but it made us all feel a lot better. Although I was good to my mother, not a day goes by that I don't wish I had let her know verbally how much I appreciated all the things she did for me, taught me, and how she made me the woman that I am today. I don't know how old you are, but learn from me - tell your mom what's in your heart now and that will be the best birthday present you could ever give her.

I need answers from shark fisherman who know alot about them.?
Me and my husband do alot of shark fishing on Jekyll Island we were told that after you catch a shark it urinates inside itself and it spoils the meat so you have 15 minutes to clean the shark after you catch it. Is this true? Is it really just 15 minutes or is it a diiferent time frame.I need answers from shark fisherman who know alot about them.?
It depends on the type of shark. Blue sharks do this, and the meat (which isn't too good to start with -- see below) turns to crap -- you can actually smell the meat and tell it's no good. (This is why blue sharks aren't sold commercially -- by the time they're taken off the longline or out of the drift net they're long dead and the meat isn't fit for cat food.)
Once a blue shark got itself impaled on both trebles of a Rapala we were trolling for tuna, so we couldn't release it alive. We gutted it immediately, ate it later that day. Not good. Blues aren't worth killing for food.
More edible sharks (threshers and makos) don't do this, or at least not as quickly, though I clean them within an hour or two of catching. However, after cleaning them you should let the meat sit (refrigerated) for a day or so before eating. (I once ate a thresher steak 3 hours after catching the fish, and I had horrible stomach cramps until it passed through my system.)
Bottom line, though, is sharks are apex predators, don't reproduce quickly, and are slow to mature. Don't feel you have to kill (and try to eat) them just because you catch them.I need answers from shark fisherman who know alot about them.?

It depends on the type of shark. Blue sharks do this, and the meat (which isn't too good to start with -- see below) turns to crap -- you can actually smell the meat and tell it's no good. (This is why blue sharks aren't sold commercially -- by the time they're taken off the longline or out of the drift net they're long dead and the meat isn't fit for cat food.)
Once a blue shark got itself impaled on both trebles of a Rapala we were trolling for tuna, so we couldn't release it alive. We gutted it immediately, ate it later that day. Not good. Blues aren't worth killing for food.
More edible sharks (threshers and makos) don't do this, or at least not as quickly, though I clean them within an hour or two of catching. However, after cleaning them you should let the meat sit (refrigerated) for a day or so before eating. (I once ate a thresher steak 3 hours after catching the fish, and I had horrible stomach cramps until it passed through my system.)

Only thing I can do is try and spread the word that voting does matter and voting out the ones who's records show they are not doing the job the American people sent them to Washington for. My husband and I are going to spend the weekend at my parent's vacation home in Jekyll Island, Ga. We are thinking of driving up to Savannah to spend the day. You cant make reservations for it and people wait outside in a line everyday to eat there. Its southern cooking type food and DELICIOUS! You eat at a family style table and there is over 30 dishes on the table to chose from. I would say a definate yes...but...a silver standard or gold/silver standard would be ok too!
