Does anyone know of any afordable hotels near disneyland in anahein and fun stuff to do around that area?

so were staying 3 days in anahein and no car since were going by train. where going to disney and disney's california adventure. so we have a free day. what are some ideas for a 40 year old guardian and two 15 year olds to do around anahein. (were all girls)

and also what hotels are (kind of) affordable around thereDoes anyone know of any afordable hotels near disneyland in anahein and fun stuff to do around that area?
Since you don't plan to have a rental car, you'll want a hotel which offers a free shuttle to the parks. I recommend the Peacock Inn %26amp; Suites. They are a few blocks away and have a shuttle service. They are a great hotel with free cont. breakfast and fun activities for kids. They also have a small pool area, but it is nice.

Besides Disney, there isn't a whole lot you can do without a car, I'm afraid. Check with whichever hotel you end up going with to see if they offer a shuttle to any other nearby spots such as Knott's Berry Farm (highly recommended) or a fun shopping spot or historical location. Have a great trip!
You should visit the disneyland website. They provide you with hotel and ticket packages and they also provide you with lists of the nearest hotels and deals they are having. You can also visit a beach. They arent too far and you can probably take a bus or taxi to the nearest one.Does anyone know of any afordable hotels near disneyland in anahein and fun stuff to do around that area?
Your best bet is to get online and do a search of hotels in Anaheim. You can see the quality of the room, find the price range you're looking for and get ideas on what to do. The Disneyland area has changed so much over the last few years, so you want to make sure you have the most current information you can get. Have you thought of Knott's Berry Farm? A lot of the hotels around there will provide free transportation to the park. A good restaurant suggestion if it's still open is Po'Folks. It's good southern cooking and has a train going around the place. Have fun.
down town disney is cool. They have a house of blues, all kinds of resturants, shops, its all outdoors, you just walk around and see everything.
There is actually numerous small and not so small motels and hotels in the area. I so not know what you can afford so I would suggest you check out an internet search and review from their.
check out the motel chains.

also, see who offers a shuttle bus to dizzyland, many do.

between uncle walt's and california adventure, that''ll pretty much fill up your three days.

you'll be too exhausted for much more.

however, if you insist, consider "nuts and fairies" farm.

way cool for teens.

you can also check out medieval times.

live jousting.

if you like that sort of thing.

that's plenty to keep you busy
