I am hoping to get a hotel near Disneyland Paris and I was wondering what the area near and surrounding Disneyland Paris is

Marne La Vallee is a new town which has no real history other than as the site for Disneyland. It did not exist prior to 1965.



There is almost nothing there that is not connected with some modern commercial venture.



It is soulless, sterile, and dreadful; one vast strip mall and housing development that has about as much connection to traditional France as Orlando has to the United States.
