I'm in fifth grade and I'm already forgetting my homework. A lot. You guys would probably think this is silly-ish, but if students miss their homework assignments, we get "checks" and I already have three. I'm afraid if I get anymore this week or any other time, that I might not make it to Jekyll Island [special priority for science reasons] in March.
I'll give an example: I forgot my LA book today and I have no idea what to do. If I forget anything at all for school, I can't sleep.
[I have a bad memory.]
Can someone please tell me how to not forget any homework, textbooks, etc.?I forget my homework a lot. What do I do?
write in your agenda.. and before going home check what you have to take with you
Get an agenda book (a planner) and write down whatever you need to do each day. Before you leave school, make sure you have all the books you'll need for whatever you've written down. Before you go back to school in the morning, make sure you've packed them all back up. I love my agenda book. I keep track of everything in there.I forget my homework a lot. What do I do?
There are easy ways of not forgetting things. Write it on the palm of your hand and you won't forget.
I do the same thing a lot and have since about the fourth grade and i am in high school now. So here is what i do:
Write everything down when teachers give homework assignments. Even if they give you time to work on it, write it down anyways. That way if by some chance you do not finish then it is written down. If you have a locker, get a locker shelf and anything you have homework in, but those books, binders ect on the top so in the afternoon all you have to do is grab the stuff from the top shelf.
If you do not have lockers, then try to keep at least one thing from a class you have homework in in your bag so it can help remind you.
