Why should the rich have to pay more?

if you owned a business and made lots of money why should you have to pay more in taxes? if we have a system that is equal in PROPER/ CONSTITUTIONAL taxation then everyone would pay in equal proportion to their wages... by the way the 16th amendment has not been ratified so... congress has no authority to dictate taxes above apportionment. Wealthy people contribute to charities, employee folks, offer grants... so what is the problem. If a person earns x amount of money it is theirs to do with as they see fit... True the tax code needs to be revised but it needs to be fair to everyone. The fair,flat, income tax and every other gimmick including 9 9 9 and Perry's is still unconstitutional. WHAT REALLY NEEDS TO HAPPEN IS we need to demand reduction in spending on things that are not benefiting America...WE DONT NEED TO INCREASE REVENUE WE NEED TO DECREASE THE CROOKED SPENDING AND such... like politicians salaries, benefits, special interest grants,... WE NEED TO GET RID OF THE FED... they are a great source of THE NATIONAL DEBT and they have no right to be in our government.
