FDR was president, not Chairman of the Fed or Commissioner of the IRS. Those agencies operate independently of the executive branch. It's true they are often wrong or abusive, but that calls for reform, not abolition. They have both been found to be constitutional. It is a shame about Joe Louis, a genuinely good man. But it wasn't Roosevelt that did him in.
