Does anyone know where you can sleep in your car at Jekyll Island, GA and not get in trouble? lol?

Okay my friend and I have decided we could just sleep in my SUV instead of getting a ridiculously priced hotel at Jekyll Island (or surrounding beaches). There is only one campground in Jekyll and its like $55 just to stay! WHAT!? Does anyone know where we could just park somewhere near the beach and sleep for a few hours and not be ticketed for loitering or something?Does anyone know where you can sleep in your car at Jekyll Island, GA and not get in trouble? lol?
It depends on where you are exactly. There are several rest stops along the highway, (including I-95,) you can stay at any of those for a few hours without any problem from the law.
Yeah I'm pretty sure you can do that at truck stops.

You can in Canada, at least, I'm not too sure about the states, but, give it a try!Does anyone know where you can sleep in your car at Jekyll Island, GA and not get in trouble? lol?
They're asking about sleeping somewhere on Jekyll Island. There are no truck stops on Jekyll Island or anywhere near it really. You would have to drive a bit and go off the island if you were looking for such a stop. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend sleeping in your car anywhere on the island. It's extremely small and there are a lot of police that constantly monitor parking lots, beaches, and pools at night.
