Has anyone ever heard of the Disney Vacation Club? If so, is it worth buying it? Real answers only please!!?

My boyfriend and I are looking to buy the resort package that has 160 points... we want to know if it is worth buying and if so, why?Has anyone ever heard of the Disney Vacation Club? If so, is it worth buying it? Real answers only please!!?
I think it costs (at minimum) $15,000 to join. I think it is a great investment... Not only do you have a palce to go on vacation every year, but if you choose to 'bank' your points, you can save up to go somewhere else, even other countries!! You are not limited to the resort that you initially sign up at, which is really cool.

The video tells you a lot, but if you have more questions, just call them up! You really can't go wrong with a Disney timeshare! They also allow you to pay in installments over 10 years, so if you think about it, for a little over $1,000 a year, you have a place to stay, on Disney property, for a week of vacation. That is pretty good considering the price of some hotels. You have to think about the convenience as well... they provide transportation everywhere and will even pick you up from the airport! That saves you a lot of money!

Vacation clubs always look like a good deal. The only problem is are you planning to use it for the rest of your life? Most people get sick of it after a few years. I'm not a part of the Disney Vacation Club, but my boyfriend and I are planning on joining, too. We just got back from our most recent Walt Disney World vacation two weeks ago. I'm already planning another vacation. I'm so ridiculously obsessed with Walt Disney World, I think it's the greatest place in the world, I think it would be a good idea to join the DVC. From what I've heard from members, it's well worth it. It costs a bit, but in a few years it will have paid for itself. You can get the free Disney Vacation Club DVD on the website. I have it. It has reviews from people who've joined, it explains everything that comes with being a member, all the places you can go, etc.
