Ok, so a couple of years ago my family and I went to Jekyll Island, GA and loved it. It was so much fun. Anyway, last year in the middle of March, we decided to go again for spring break. It was awful! There were dead jellyfish everywhere on the beach. We couldn't go on the beach at all. So, my question is what months does this happen so we can avoid that?Jekyll Island?
The best time to go is during the summer. I've never seen dead jelly fish in that area at all. I know you probably don't want to deal with the other tourists though. I would say to probably go before memorial day.Jekyll Island?
I don't know the answer to your question, but I would strongly advise against staying at the Jekyll Oceanfront Resort by Clarion. That place is a dump. Check out their reviews on www.tripadvisor.com
