What is the difference between them?
How is the pool? can we go to both pools? What is the difference between the Jambo House and Kidani Village at Disney's Animal Kingdom Resort?
We are DVC members too %26amp; have stayed at Kidani Village. We love it there. Jambo House is more like the hotel part, while they made Kidani Village %26amp; all the DVC rooms with extra bonuses. DVC rooms have kitchenettes or full kitchens (depending on the room you book), a sofa bed, desk %26amp; chairs %26amp; free internet if you decide to bring your laptop. The pools are very nice at both Jambo House %26amp; Kidani Village %26amp; you may use both. You may go to the food court at Jambo House too. You may also join the activities they offer at both places. Pick up the activity guides for both when you check in. We have taken the tour of Jambo House, a drumming session, looking at the animals %26amp; learning about them at night %26amp; taken the restaurant tour. The restaurant tour was great. It was free. We got a tour of Boma's %26amp; Jiko's %26amp; got to sample the food. If you don't have a room overlooking the animals, go out into the hall. They have large windows where you can see them. When you stay on Disney property you can buy a mug that can be refilled for free throughout your stay. We enjoy filling our mugs in the evenings %26amp; sitting out on the terrace at Jambo House %26amp; watching the animals. Jambo House has two great restaurants-Boma's %26amp; Jiko's. Boma's is one of our favorites. We always go there for breakfast %26amp; dinner. The food is fabulous. Try their special juice. Jiko's is more for adults. The food tends to be on the spicy side. It is a lovely place. The colors on the walls change, depicting the colrs of the African sunsets. Kidani Village also has a lovely restaurant. Sanaa has African/Indian food. They have floor to ceiling windows, so you can watch the animals while you dine. The food is excellent. You will have a great time at Kidani Village! Below is a web site where you will find even more information.
