What is the weather like is Jekyll Island, GA during the monthe of July?

Weather.com says 90, but feels like 100. Has anyone who has been there this time of year think it's bad? Is it unbearable for vacationing? Thanks. What is the weather like is Jekyll Island, GA during the monthe of July?
It can be hot. After all, this is the South!

Let's qualify that. It will feel hot and humid in the interior of the island, under the live oaks, on some of the bike trails. Wear light clothing and drink plenty of water.

In the open, on the golf courses and tennis courts, it will be hot!!! Keep hydrated, drink electrolyte replacement drinks. Take breaks in the shade.

On the beach - best to hit the beaches in morning and afternoon. From 10:30 to 4:00 it will be very hot. Keep sunblock on, replace every hour or so, after swimming and if you're sweating a lot. Sea breezes help, but it's best to do the beach thing early or late in the day.

Heat affects older folks more, so make sure seniors are protected and drink plenty of water. Keep the sunblock on the little ones, too.

Cool off in your hotel's swimming pool.

It can be hot, but not unbearably so. Depends on what you like to do. If you're active and outdoors during the middle of the day, take precautions!
